- كنيسة القديسة دميانة بالوايلي هي كنيسة قبطية أرثوذكسية تقع في حي الوايلي بالقاهرة.
التأسيس :
- تأسست الكنيسة سنة ١٩٥١ على مساحة قدرها ۷۰۰ متر مربع تقع في رقم ١٤ شارع صابر الطويل بالوايلي الكبير حدائق القبة .
نيافة الأنبا أثناسيوس
هو أسقف عام كنائس قطاع حدائق القبة والوايلي والعباسية ومنشية الصدر.
ذكرت الكنيسة القبطية الأرثوذكسية ذلك في بيان.
تم تجليسه وسيامة أسقفًا في حفل ترأسه قداسة البابا تواضروس الثاني في الكاتدرائية المرقسية بالعباسية.
تم اختيار اسم أثناسيوس بالتزامن مع الاحتفال بمرور 17 قرنًا على انعقاد مجمع نيقية.
